Founded in 1992 by Bob Briley, Incotec has become an acknowledged industry-leader for coating solutions to metal substrates of all types.
Our mission is to serve our clients by providing the highest quality, most innovative and technologically-advanced coatings available in the industry. Our expert and dedicated staff work constantly to improve our methods while providing complete customer satisfaction with exceptional quality and on-time deliveries.
The Incotec campus includes a state-of-the-art research and development lab, quality control lab, and coating manufacturing/compounding facility with automated, manual, batch, dip and spin coating systems.
To ensure consistent, superior quality for all our products, Incotec uses an ERP JobBoss manufacturing system, computerized digital micrometers and thread roll gages, and routinely exceeds the highest U.S. government and industry quality-control standards. Additionally, Incotec is an AS9100-accredited company.
About Our Founder
Bob Briley's career in the industry began in 1972 when he started working for Hi-Shear Corporation (LISI CORP) setting up their coating process. He ran the process coating department and worked on the development of Hi-Kote I per BMS 10-85 & NAS 4006 and HK II per MIL-L-46010.
Six years later, Briley moved to coating company Kal-Gard Corporation (Metal Improvement Corporation) to set up their fastener coating facility. He developed coatings for Kal-Gard to apply on fasteners per BMS 10-85 Kal-Gard 2242. Briley also developed a coating for Airbus Kal-Gard 2245. These coatings are still in use today.
In 1992, Briley founded Innovative Coatings Technology Corporation and has spent the last 18 years developing coatings for the world aerospace industry and is currently developing new coatings for composite BOEING 787 parts. Briley is a member of SAE E-25, General Standards for Aerospace and Jet Propulsion Systems, National Aerospace Standards Committee (NASC), FEOPS, MIL-STD-1515 Committee and the MIL-HANDBOOK-5 Reach.
Two years ago Briley purchased Kal-Gard Lubricants Corporation and has helped develop a wide range of state-of-the-art coating and lubricants for the motor-sports industry
